I've done a couple of pitches in the past, and normally squeeze a demo (or even PoC) in about mid-way thru; I'd put it just after 'The Solution' in your list.

Re: Disqus

very interesting article, will share this with my friends, thanks!

Re: Disqus

thanks for sharing, really enjoyed this article, look forward to coming back and reading more

Re: Disqus

You have made a very good choice because Disqus is the best commenting system that exists right now. It isn't perfect, but it offers flexibility and mobility which is great.
_____________________________________
Aaron Breslow

Re: Disqus

Its good stuff!

Re: Disqus

Disqus is great ! For example, like the bottom of this page: http://storymash.com/u/wsel...

Re: Visualization for dynamic data sets

Hey, how do you do Edu?

I've found this stuff totally awesome! In some moments I felt like watching a video screen capture from a game like Space Invaders or similar, but for sure it's nearly a work of digital art; and all built from simple commit log lines,... impressive.

As lots of people know, transmitting a message as properly as you can is really need in these days world, misunderstandings can cause critical failures with huge amounts of money loss, etc.

But, know what? I will be evils' advocate if I say that this representations are casting information through colors and ... you know what I mean: have you read the article on my site about information through color? ;o)
Just kidding mate, I know this representations are mostly trying to show an overview of a long lapse, so that is not the point to complain because it fulfills its needs by far.

Well, see you on longboard soon, salut!

Re: Visualization for dynamic data sets

Edu, this is really cool. Progress in data visualization techniques may change a lot of things a we know today. For example, it may help in software engineering to know what components, source code, configurations,... are you more depending on, so you can see more easily where to focus for quality improvement. It may help also to analyze what media channels and people are more influent in stock exchange markets in a very simple and quick way.
In a world where data volume is increasing exponentially and current data warehousing techniques are often not enough to extract knowledge from raw data, visualization techniques can play a very important role.

Regards,
Josep.

Re: Visualization for dynamic data sets

Totally amazing.
